David Lowery is singer songwriter and guitarist for the legendary alt/indie bands Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven. He is also a lecturer in music business and economics at the University of Georgia, and a record producer, recording records for The Counting Crows, Jason Molina, Magnolia Electric Company, Lucero, Sparklehorse many more. In February of 2011 429/Savoy Records released his first solo record "The Palace Guards".
